Some of the tools Laura uses:

Yoga therapy, as practiced by Laura blends and integrates many different tools, and approaches, Together you work with her to utilize the combination most effective for you. This is the big advantage of working on a one-to-one basis, no two sessions are the same.

Some of the tools in her toolbox:

  • Psychology (Deep understanding of how our minds work)

  • Coaching ( Taking the theory into real life for real people)

  • iRest (supporting the nervous system, specializing in stress, PTSD, and other trauma)

  • Yoga Theorpy (spocific yoga to support spivific needs)

  • Functional Yoga (Developing freedom of movement that is beneficial in real life)

  • Somatics (retraining patterns we have developed to offer more freedom within the body)

  • Development movent (We are constantly changing, and our brains are elastic. Movement is key to this, Using development biased movements we can continue to grow and develop into old age)

  • Embodied yoga (learning to read the signals from our body and then having the freedom to act on them - the body never lies)

  • Philosophy (Having studied many different schools of philosophy, KLaura has many different paths at her fingertips to support us remember who we are, and to support us feel better, by choosing to be true to ourselves.

Using a combination of the above (and many other ) tools, Laura supports us to achieve the greatest freedom possible so we can live the best life possible. (Freedom in mind, body, and spirit).

 

Yoga Therapy Session

By Appointment

Cost: €120

20% Discount for a Block of 4 €385

Working with Laura you initially clarify your aim for the session/s. This may vary form

  • support recovering from or preparing for an operation or procedure

  • support rehabilating from and injoury

  • investing in your health with a preventitive personal programme

  • support managing stress, PTSD, or other aeas of cjalange

  • Investing in your self by developing a program to improve mental or physical performance.

Over the session/s you develop a program, set realistic goals, get the support required to achieve them and develop a feedback mechanism to assess your progress. (Obviously, if you are only attending for one session, you are responsible for putting the supports in place for yourself to implement the program)

During the year Laura offers a Deep Dive into Yoga and Yoga Therapy Workshop looking at different common, often chronic conditions.

Therapy classes for small groups

There are also options for private classes for groups who may have specific needs, ether here at the studio or on site. Chair yoga or iRest yoga Nidra Meditation are therapeutic options which have excellent proven effects. Chair Yoga

Yoga supports you physically, mentally and emotionally. However it is often seen as an activity for the young and flexible. Nothing could be further from the truth. If you like to practice yoga, but feel you are unable to due to mobility restrictions read on. Our Chair Yoga Classes are specially designed for those who find it difficult to get on the floor, or have special needs for movement. Get all the benefits of a regular class while remaining seated.

No prior knowledge or flexibility needed for this class.
